Stuff You Should Know


    1. BRING.
    Your red dress if you are taking part in the Ruby Red Dress Run on Thursday.
    Your kilt & tartan stuff for Friday evening.
    Saturday fancy dress theme is “A Day At The Races”
    2.  REGISTRATION (Nelson Stand)
    Will be open at 12 noon on Friday until 6pm.
    Also 10 – 10.30pm Fri
    & 9 – 10am on Sat.
    Know your home hash & registration number.
    You will get a wristband – don’t lose it. Vegetarians who registered as such will get green wristbands. If in doubt, ask.
    You will get a beer glass in the goody bag. Keep it with you and use it or bring your own. We are trying to be green and stop plastic wastage.
    3.  CAMPING.
    Camp where instructed. Cars allowed beside tents. Make sure your valuables are securely stored.
    No fires or BBQ’s anywhere on site. Gas stoves OK.
    You can arrive on Thursday (even Wednesday). Last departure Tuesday lunchtime.
    4.  FRIDAY.
    Cash / coupon bar will operate in afternoon / early evening.
    The weekend kicks off with the “Scone Scamper” run starting at 6.30pm from the Marquee. Carry cash for a quick service drink en route.
    Opening ceremony will be at 9pm.
    5.  FOOD.
    Breakfast Sat, Sun, Mon 8 – 10am. Nelson Stand upstairs or Main  
    Stand ground floor. After breakfast collect your packed lunch on Sat & Sun from the Nelson Stand. Dinner Sat & Sun 6 – 8pm.
    At other times from Thursday to Monday, food, tea & coffee will
    be available to purchase in the Nelson Stand.
    6.  HOTELS / B & B’s / JOCKEYS’ HOSTEL.
    If you are staying in The Skylodge, Pitcullen Crescent B & B’s or the Jockeys’ Hostel a bus will pick you up on Sat, Sun & Mon mornings. Details at Registration.
